ALL IN – Walking in the Way of Jesus

Why do so many Christians get bored with their faith? Why are there so many stories of men and women deconstructing their faith, or leaving it entirely? Even for those who remain in the church, why is it that there are so many Christians who are disengaged from the life-changing movement that God is inviting us into? Many are asking ‘Where’s the transformation? Where’s the life-change? Is there more to life than this? Is Jesus actually worth following?’

The reason why your heart says, ‘There has to be more than this!’ is because there is!

A lukewarm, half-hearted, shallow faith is not what God has in mind for you. When Jesus says, “Follow me,” he isn’t inviting you to a destination, or to add a little religion to your already busy life, or to make a few moral tweaks to improve your earthly circumstances. Rather, Jesus is inviting you to turn your back on all that makes you feel secure, and putting in your lot entirely with him—wherever it takes you, whatever it costs you, whatever it takes. All in!

To that end, Christians live as those who walk daily in the presence of Jesus, practicing the Way of Jesus, and who bring spiritual, social, and cultural renewal to their city so that we may see, “The fame and deeds of God renewed and known in our time” (Habakkuk 3:2).
