Orphanage Outreach

Our youth will bless the YWAM Orphanage staff by working and helping out at the facility. Each day the assignment may differ and may include: painting, doing simple carpentry work, sewing, yard and garden work, taking care of babies, working in the kitchen, sorting clothes and playing with the kids (our Youth usually get to choose their work duty).

Outside the Orphanage There are evangelism outreaches into remote communities (cardboard shack villages) to: evangelize, distribute milk, food, clothes, shoes, etc., as well as play with the children and show love to the families. Our Youth will also feed breakfast to more than 120 children who go to school without having eaten.

Mode of Transportation to and from: Lord willing, the youth will take the Amtrak Train to San Diego, YWAM staff will pick them up in San Diego for the 6 hour drive to Vincent Guerrero. On the return the goal is to fly back from San Diego to Seattle or Vancouver.

The youth will begin fundraising very soon. Please support our youth in their fundraising efforts. Each youth going will need to pay $250.00. The remainder, Lord willing, will be fundraised. Total cost of the trip is approx $1,300.
